My son cries when he hears slow songs. Is this just a stage?

  • The little boy I babysit ,he was like that,especially when the backyadigan song came on,he would just bawl,it is a stage.He is now 6 ,but still very sensitive.

  • I remember when I was a kid, my mom's friend had a little boy... at one point he rolled off the couch. Anytime he heard rock- a bye baby in the tree top, he would just start screaming. Even at four years old, he would cry and beg you to stop singing. It was the saddest thing ever.

  • I think it's just their emotions, how the song makes them feel. My son cries when my hubby sings the alphabet song all sweet like. Sometimes if he hears a slow or sweet song, he'll tear up and his lower lip will come out like he's gonna start bawling....I think it's just a stage they go through.
