food poisoning in babies

my mom said something about food poisoning and now im all worried :p

how would i know if my son had food poisoning? i mean he doesnt right now but if he did how would i know?

  • Lots and lots of vomiting or diarrhea are a pretty clear indication. It is miserable.

  • Quite worrying. Food poisoning usually happens because food isn't prepared properly. And anytime your child has vomitting and diarrhea for over 24 hours, it's best to call the peds because they can get dehydrated quickly. Bloody stools are also a warning sign, and call immediately.

  • I'm pretty sure he would be screaming nonstop. When I got food poisoning I thought I was going to die. I would like the flu over food poisoning any day.

  • Stop worrying so much!!!! Your son may have vomitting,diarrhea, won't eat and may be crabby. The only way to know would be to take your child to the doctor.
