  • My son is 28 months and eats a chewable vitamin. He gets the My First Flintstone's and loves them. He can chew them really well and gets one every evening.

  • We don't give them because our pediatrician says the boys don't need them. They eat a fairly balanced diet.

  • we give them but i wouldnt mix them in the milk or dairy products because dairy can block the absorbtion of iron- u should try giving them with fruit juice because vitamin c taken with iron can help it- or even in applesauce- thats good too

  • I started my guy on vitamins when he was about 18 months, I don't remember the brand but they are chewy bears from Whole Foods. They say vegetarian on the label; they're made with pectin rather than gelatin which makes them easier to chew throughly. A full dose is 3 bears. He started one 1 and since he's turned 3 I generally give him two. He eats a healthy and balanced diet but I like the little extra nutritional insurance and he likes getting a couple of pieces of candy each day :-)

  • My first daughter took her Poly-Vi-Sol with Iron in her bedtime bottle since she hated the taste. She now takes a Zippy Zoo (generic Flintstone) with her breakfast. My second daughter (11months) takes her vitamin through the dropper right before bed. I started them taking it at night since I get nauseous when I take mine in the morning and thought maybe they would too.
