  • YMCA. Just make sure you do not walk around barefoot where ever you go.

  • The YMCA is a rip off in VA. They charge you $82 a month plus its another $45 or something per lesson and they are only 30 minutes. Try a local pool, or if you live near a military installation you can contact them to see if they offer them for free or a small fee. Most of the time you only need a license, insurance and valid registration to get on post/base.

  • YMCA usually does offer classes. Unless they've changed the age requirements, your ten month old should be fine to go. You do have to get in the water with them however, esp at a young age. My son was 6 months old,it was hard to do that to him, but, was a good thing :)))

  • I took mine to the local college. It is a good idea to go to an indoor pool because changes in weather won't make a difference.
