  • Songs are a great way for children to learn. Try "Old Mac Donald", "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"
This one is fun: Place your index fingers one on either side of your mouth and say "mmm" then open your mouth, stick your tongue out and say "ahh" "went the little green frog, "mmm, ahh went the little green frog" "mmm, ahh went the little green frog but he didn't go mmm mmm ahh" "cause we know frogs go "whoop la dee da dee da" (throw your hands up in the air with this part) "whoop la dee da dee da" "whoop la dee da dee da" "we know frogs go "whoop la dee da dee da" they don't go mmm mmm ahh (stick tongue back out).

  • Try here:
She has some good suggestions for infants and toddlers. Be sure to remember that there is more to life than ABC's and 123's though. Don't forget that kids learn while sliding down slides, playing in the grass, watching a dandilion puff blow away. Kids learn from everything and all of the lessons are important.
