first tooth

my son is getting his first tooth, it has come out of the gum and is about 2mm in length so far... but it has been that length and hasn't gotten any bigger for 2 weeks now.
Is this normal? is there anything I can do about it?

  • there's nothing you can do to make them come through faster - BELIEVE me, if there was I would have all these little suckers out of my son's mouth. One day you'll look and it will be a full tooth - it must happen in spurts
