5 month swimming

Is it ok to take my 5 month old in the pool at the ymca?

  • ymca pools are usully clean
    have a 1st baby float and go during the day when people are working and/or at school. So its not crowed... have fun

  • I think at they they prefer 6 months but when you do go just never walk barefoot.

  • yeah that is a good age to start swimming. as long as it s a clean pool.

  • its so much fun of course you should go. Just make sure you bath/shower your baby after with soap. HAVE A BLAST

  • I did with all 3 of my little ones. They all were in pools at just over a month of age. They are 14, 6, & 5 now & perfectly healthy & love the water.

  • yes, a lot of places actually start swimming lessons at 3 months. most of them are 6 months....we're taking my DD within a couple months. Im so excited:) have fun!
