If you are going to do Plastic Eggs for Easter what do you put in them other than candy?

Any other ideas, I am tired of all this candy

Candy for Valentines, Easter, Birthdays, Halloween and Christmas. Candy all year around. Even though I sometimes let them eat candy with supervision but some how they seem to get into them. (those sneaky kids).

  • Try small erasers, coins, jewelry for girls, stickers. Check dollar stores, sometimes they have small goodie bag stuff that will fit in the eggs.

  • We're putting in money too, those shiny new $1 coins. LOL. My son also loves getting Lotto scratch-off tickets whenever we go to the store, so I'm trying to find some big plastic eggs to fit those into.

  • Adding to my post above:

Temporary tattoos, small markers or crayons, small bottle of bubbles, a gift certificate for a frosty, etc.

  • My parents always put money in our easter eggs. They hid our easter baskets around the house and we would search for them. Then we would eat some candy and then get dressed. Then we had our easter eggs hunt. Sometimes I found as much as $15. We were only allowed so many eggs per child (there were 5 of us).
