Who goes first?

If a police car with his lights on, a fire truck with his lights on, an ambulance with his lights on and a mail truck all get to a 4 way intersection all at the same time who has the right of way first?

  • Not the mailman. Isn't that a myth that because he is a federal government employee he can go first? I read about it somewhere.

  • Ironically it IS the mailman! The law was written or whatever it is WAY before phones or anything was invented and never changed. The mailman gets to go first because it could be carrying a declaration of war....I thought it was interesting!

  • I'd pick the ambulance. I think a medical emergency would trump the others.
