If i put a worm inside one of my office plants, will it live?

  • I think you should put a pile of dirt in your desk drawer and keep it there. Then show it to people when they come into your office. I bet they'd leave you alone then.

  • It would crawl out and die outside of the soil.

    (just guessing, but this is what I observe even in our yard)

  • Yup, just don't over water it or it will drown. You don't want your poor little worn to drown, do you? Then you'd have to give it a life saver size life preserver to stay afloat.

  • There's a very good chance your plant will live. Just give it water and enough light. The worm is probably not poisonous to plants.

  • Are you asking if the worm or the plant will live? I think you need to be more specific. However, kudos on the good grammar and spelling.

    As for your problem - you might want to put the worm in the soil that the plant is growing in. You may find it nearly impossible to place the worm inside the actual plant. Might get messy.
