Does anyone else....

miss the days when news shows had an anchor behind a desk telling us the news. It seems like more work goes into graphics (for lack of a better word) and obnoxius music then actual reporting of current and relevant news.

  • Good God, yes. And why are they reporting entertainment news?? I don't care who got married or divorced or what someones kid looks like. Please tell me the news and the weather. If I need more, I'll find it elsewhere.

  • I agree! Everything has to have a theme song and graphics. Bad news is sensationalized, and the latest celebrity that gains or loses weight gets top billing. Try PBS!

  • I just want them to get rid of the crawls at the bottom of the page! Remember when they only used those for breaking news?
Oh and I am so tired of them warning us about the digital conversion. If people are that ignorant that they have not figured it out by now, They do not need to be watching any more television. Maybe they should open a book instead.
