  • Pack a cooler in the car. Have your hand stamped and go to the car for lunch. We always did that. Eating in the park is outrageously expensive. Choose souveneirs carefully. After admission tickets those are the two big money eaters. Also don't wait till right before closing to shop it will be insane.

  • You can look for tickets on ebay, we have done that in the past when going to DisneyWorld and they can be a lot cheaper, also if you or your hubby is military (or if you know someone who is in the military) they give great discounts if you buy tickets on base before hand. Another thing we have always done is put all of our spare change in a jar every day, from the time we decide to book the trip, until we go, and use that to purchase our souveneirs. If the kids are old enough to have an allowance/work make them save that for the purchase of their own souveneirs. Like the person above, we usually pack a cooler with food, or if we're in Florida, go back to our condo and make our own meals.

  • I would not purchase tickets from any thing but the REAL Disney!! They admit by thumb print and you need a picture ID. In L.A. get a map to the stars homes and drive around. beaches are cool! drive up near the sign (free) get an Entertaiment book for the area (1/2 price now!) Eat at Tommy Burger. A really yummy fast food joint and also, Pinks for hot dogs and get Fish Tacos from beach stands!! Who needs sit downs! keep in mind the public bathrooms at many places are really nasty and they will try and charge you a quarter or you need to ask the proprieter for a token. We had the BEAST pitcher of beer I have ever had at a little italian joint on Hollywood Blvd. Secare full, lots of sex shops in that area too. We went alst June and had a blast!! (only 4 days)
