what the earliest that an ultrasound can tell the baby sex??

  • I got mine at 22 weeks but I have heard they can do it as soon as 20 weeks

  • I was told by some ultrasound tech friends that it is sometimes possible to tell as early as 16 weeks. I think an OB usually schedules that ultrasound that most people learn the baby's gender from around 19-21 weeks =)

  • The tech told my cousin at 17 weeks that she was 70% sure that it was a girl. My cousin then had another ultrasound at 22 weeks that confirmed that it was a girl.

  • I was told at 14 weeks that the tech was almost 100 % sure it was a girl. Confirmed at 18 weeks.
