  • The Constitution has been re-written. 27 times in fact. And it will be in the future.

We call them AMENDMENTS. And passing them requires ratification. It took 202 years to ratify the last one that took effect in 1992.

The Constitution is a living document for a living nation.

  • The Constitution doesnt mean squat to them anymore it seems, so I guess rewriting it is a waste of time.

  • Do we really want Nancy Pelosi (sp) and Harry Reid writing anything ELSE for us? Who knows what kind of crap they'll throw in there this time.

Pretty soon, it will be illegal to say anything negative about anyone holding public office, or one will face stoning!

  • Great.

Be prepared to bow to a bronzed statue of The President of the United States daily. You must worship the ground on which this Messiah, savior of our country, walks. When he speaks, there will be utter silence so all can absorb and bask in the wisdom of the One...

  • christaberk, no need to be sarcastic. Its only common sense, the constitution is supposed to protect our rights, if they are going to take them away whats the point on having it?
