Edible Arrangements

Has anyone ever made one at home? What do you stick the skewers in to hold it in place?

  • Actually, Cafemom sent me one and they used a lettuce in the bottom. The cut the outer leaves off making the core the shape of the vase. Hope this helps.

  • The green foam things..uh, hello mental block!

    They can be found at flower shops and hobby/craft stores.

  • You could use foam blocks, or styrofoam.

  • If you use the florist foam, wrap it in plastic wrap first before you start arranging.

  • I think the green foam is formally called oasis if that helps you when looking for it.
