  • Hmmmm........ well the most useful Item I HAD, but not bought, were my boobs. Second would probably be a boppy. It saved our breastfeeding relationship! Binkys were always useful too and recieving blankets for swaddling.

Sorry I guess I couldnt name JUST :)

  • LOL - I'm with Kate jocelyn, boobs were pretty much the most useful, necessary thing - EVERYTHING ELSE is extra. Other than that, a sling. Being able to have my hands free while carrying (and even nursing) my baby was a lifesaver!

  • Miracle Blanket swaddling blanket. I attribute my sanity to that single item.

  • Most useful items IMO:

    1. Boobs
    2. Baby Carrier (I liked the Bjorn Active because it has lumbar support but you really just need to get what you like)
    3. The swing :)

Also, please note they no longer recommend that you swaddle your babies. They have linked swaddling with SIDS because some babies are unable to maintain internal temperature and they overheat themselves. Just a note. They did not come out with this until after Emily was done being swaddled but I am so fortunate that she was obviously able to regulate her internal temp cause she LOVED being swaddled and didn't stop till around 9 MONTHS!

  • My baby swing is a life saver! My baby loves to be rocked in my arms, but after a while my arms get so tired! The baby swing is the only thing that will soothe her sometimes. And, it's not even one of those expensive ones or fancy ones with lights or music, just a regular 'ole swing.
