  • think you may lose wt. Water wt. If it is done for long periods of time you may lose wt..muscle since it is easier for the body to get its calories from muscle than fat. Going below 1200 calories is unsafe and unhealthy and the wrong way to lose wt.

  • Fad diets are never good. use non-strict portion control and exercise instead along with other life style changes.

  • It will make you lose a good amount of weight while you're on the "fast" but once you eat one little tiny piece of real food it all comes back. I haven't tried it, this is just what my friends have said about it.

    Honestly, our bodies can't live on juice alone. A body deserves a well balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and even fats and oils and sweets.

  • your not living on junk juices, its vege juices juiced from fresh veges. yes you can live on them for a fast as long as you are getting protein from somewhere too. typically a whole food vitamin. I am about to do an 8 day juice fast. good luck to you if you decide to do it. Its not a "fad" diet, people have been fasting for hundreds of years.
