How come only your fingers and toes get prune in the shower and nothing else does?

    The pruney look is caused by to much moisture absorbed into the skin. The fingers and toes have large surface area and little flesh to hold moisture. Because of this they get waterlogged and pruney first. The rest of the body has lots more flesh beneath the skin and can hold lots mor water. If you stayed in the tub long enough other parts would become pruney.
