breastfeeding.....is this normal?

when i am pumping, i can see the milk spray from my nipple and i notice it comes from here and there, different places all the time, top, side bottom, and usually in 3 or 4 diff streams, sometimes just 1. I guess I assumed it would come directly from the center?????? should it?

  • No. That is normal. It's more like a showerhead than a faucet.

milk comes out in little milk ducks all over the nipple. you have several not just one :)
also, its also common (i have one) to find a milk duck NOT ON YOUR NIPPLE! lol....
One day I seen this bump beside my nipple & squeezed it a bit & milk came shooting out!

  • Haha well put imacafemom. It freaked me out the first time it sprayed. Sometimes it's so strong I can hear it over the pump!
