  • seriously? it is a piece of paper you can cut out of your local paper or find online and print. it will be for a specific product or item. and it gives you a certain amount off. say you are getting General Mills cereal, you may have a coupon for $1.00 off of two 16 oz sizes (or larger) of General Mills cereal, so you have to get two that are at least 16 oz. Then when you check out you give the cashier all your coupons and they will scan them just like they are scanning a product and it takes the amounts off. Hope that was helpful

  • Aw, remember girls, Cafemom is used all over the world (other countries are here too, not just the USA) and different areas may do things differently! Have patience with questions on here.

Vabchmommy gave a good answer. To add to hers ~ the grocery stores will then send these coupons on to the different manufacturers who will then reimburse the grocery store for any of these coupons. Some grocery chains will also double or even triple the amount of the coupon. I imagine the manufacturer reimburses them for the original amount and that grocery chain then takes the doubled amount out of their own profits so the consumer can have the savings.

  • Coupon is a discount instrument to reduce the final price you pay...There are paper coupons, printable coupons and online coupons.

if you found a coupon from news paper or magazine or junk mail, cut it and bring it to the stores that sell that item and show the coupon before they scan your products. If you found a printable coupons online, print it and redeem as a paper coupon.

And if you are referring to online coupon, where you get coupon code from sites like

    dollarise.com

    keycode

apply the coupon code from these sites to save money on your online purchase
