Do you think some people are full of crap on CM?

I have seen so many questions/answers about how some people's children are so advanced. Or how some of these mommies are cooking veal or lamb for dinner with a fancy little side salad. I know this is the internet, but seriously.....

  • LOL. Well, My daughter actually is advanced for her age but it's because she goes to preschool and i also teach her at home. My oldest is in AP classes. I don't however, cook veal and lamb for dinner nightly. CrockPot FTW.

I think there actually are women who live the way they say they do and have kids as smart as they say they are. But I'm sure there's also people who like to exaggerate.

  • Honestly the internet allows people to be who they really want to be in real life but can't. I, for starters are as real as they come. But yes I do lift an eyebrow up occasionally.

  • Well, I love to cook, so I cook fancy dinners (not lamb or veal, though, don't eat babies). I don't see why that is so unbelievable. I must admit that I saw this mother say that her child was speaking in full sentences by 9 months. . . that I did not believe.

  • OP here: These are just examples I'm throwing out there. I always answer truthfully. I just don't understand why people would lie about such meaningless things.
