  • Well, 7lbs 8ozs. Is the average baby size. And 20in. is the average length.

    I was 8lbs 14oz and 23 in.
    My son was 7lbs 8oz and 19in.

  • I think it has to do with length too. Any baby over 21 inches is huge.

    When my first baby was born he was 8lb5.6 oz and 22 inches long. When the doc put him on my tummy all I could think was...that isn't a's a toddler. He seemed soo huge.
