What do you feed your 1 year old for breakfast?

My daughter will be one at the end of the month and eats mostly regular food now. She's actually starting to protest if I give her baby food now. I am a first time mommy and kind of a health nut and don't really know good, easy, healthy kid friendly breakfasts? Any help and ideas would be great! Thanks :)

  • oatmeal, malt-o meal, cream of wheat, healthy dry cereals, scrambled eggs, pancake, waffle. Waffle and pancakes can be eaten without syrup, try honey or plain or with applesauce. My son like them with peanut butter. All the hot cereals can be made with milk and requuire no sugar or butter. Add fruit or peanut butter. Toast, all fruits, even regular not neccessarily breakfast foods will work.

  • HEY GIRL!!!!! i cannot believe our little ones are almost one now! how have you been??

k, in answer to your question, i like to give emalyn:

applesauce, or sliced bananas, i also slice peaches, or pears, or mandarin oranges (i get the canned pears and peaches in water)
    toast with jam
    cereal (like cheerios)
scrambled eggs (i even put some veggies in them)
    oatmeal
    cheese
    yogurt
she loves those cinnoman french toast eggo things... basically she gets whatever my other kids are having.
once you are okay giving them nuts, you can also do peanut butter on crackers or toast. these are just the ones i can think of off the top of my head, hope they helped!
