breastmilk situation...

I am considering using a company that does donation so I don't have to supplement. what are your thoughts on this?? any one have experience with this one way or another??

  • I don't have experience with it but I think its a great idea. If you can't produce its a great alternative.

  • My concern would be not knowing what the donor ate while pumping the milk, but then we have food sensitivities here.

  • great idea! better than formula! :)

    I plan on donating my breastmilk to a mom in need, when this new baby is born. :) If you are comfy, you can also look into moms on here who would donate, many moms here do so and are clean! :) (like me, I don't take meds: do drugs, or smoke, and have no diseases)!

  • I'm donating what I pumped when my DD developed a lactose sensitivy. They (at least the bank i'm going through) will only give it to you if your baby is sick, or the baby is adopted. Not just because you dont want to breastfeed (or pump).
