when do babies start stage two baby food?

i am not thinking about atarting my son on then anytime soon, but i would just like to know for future reference. he is six months old and just started cereal. he has tried carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and sweet peas.

  • there isnt much differences btw stage one & stage two. the biggest difference is in size & the other is that stage two is a little thicker, requires a little more skill to swallow (but not much). i switched up to stage two about a month after stage one; once she had tried everything in stage one.

    i would say once your son can eat a whole jar of stage one in one sitting & still seems hungry you should switch to stage two.
