8th month old no teeth, what if any finger foods can I give him for a snack?

  • I use to cute up the gerber yogurt melts. They are really porous and will crunch up between the gums, and they melt as well, but make sure you cut them up!

  • You'd be surprised what they can gum. My daughter ate croutons with no teeth. Gerber makes great finger foods that melt so they don't have to be chewed. Be brave, let him try things and if he can't chew them take them out and try something different.

  • My son is also 8 months with no teeth. Just today I started giving him pasta and he did very well with it. I also gave him some cooked peas. Up until now I have been giving him the Gerber finger foods (the puffs are GREAT). If you haven't tried any finger foods at all yet, I'd start with the Gerber ones and move one once she masters those.
