  • Everyone needs privacy in a relationship. My husband and I both give each other space.

  • I think having privacy is very important, and you can do this if you have trust in your relationship. We dont go through each others cell phones, email, or wallet/purse. I trust my husband until he gives me a reason not to.

  • Why wouldn't you give him privacy? and what kind?

Answer by jenellemarie at 1:54 AM on Apr. 9, 2009

  • Of course he should have his privacy. Just like you should have yours. I've said this a million times to a million of these kinds of questions. YOU (meaning the wife) ARE NOT HIS MOTHER. Being in a relationship does not give you full reign on every tiny detail of his life.

  • I'm not sure exactly as to what extent you mean.
