  • My mom had twins. She said that her swings and walkers saved her sanity.

  • I don't but I can say that at least at first, they only need one bed.

  • Most people always say two bouncer seats, but my babies never liked them. Obviously you have to have two carseats and probably a double stroller. They can usually share a crib at first, but I think most people move them to separate cribs by 3 to 6 months (I moved mine at 3 months). I have two highchairs, but with pretty much everything else one was plenty. You may find that you need two swings, but I'd start with one; that was all I needed because only one baby really liked it (the other one loved his boppy pillow). With other big things I say go with one and see if you think you really need a second. I had one excersaucer and one jumparoo; the babies took turns with those. As they have gotten older I have found that I also need two of some toys (push/ride on toys, buckets, and other individual type toys that cause a fight). Also, you will obviously need double the diapers, wipes, blankets, etc. Congrats & good luck!

  • We don't have twins but I would imagine anything they baby can sit/play in would be wonderful. I know with one child it was great. We always had swing, bouncy, excersaucer, or activity mats. Good luck!

  • Also, join the group "Moms that have or are having twins" for lots of first hand experience from twin moms. I like that group because there are moms who have twins of all ages as well as those who are expecting.
