What do you think of the name Dominic...(new age vs older names)

just wondering. I named my son Dominic and we love it, but a lot of our friends thought that we should name him something trendier. I want to name my next boy Franco and call him Frankie, but a lot of our friends have the same reaction. We obviously dont use that to determine our decision, but I was wondering if you like more traditional names, Like Dominic and Franco, or new age names?

  • Dominic is a traditional name, which I favor over trendy names. I am named Melissa...like about 10 million other girls in my generation. I would and have chosen more traditional name for my boys.
I sucks to be one of 30 kids with the same in a school.

  • I like the name Dominic....I know 2 little boys with that name! I also know a Frankie, his real name is Frank. I don't really care for the name Franco....
