does acupressure really work to induce labor?

i have read about it on the internet and i was just wondering if anyone on here has done it and it work or is it another stuipd sayin

  • I didnt do acupuncture, but reflexology. I massaged my ankle area, which has nerve endings connected to the uterus area. within a few hours I had loose bowels and that evening after having sex with SO I had very intense painful contractions and by 3am I headed to the hospital and had my son 1pm.

  • I've definitely thought about it. It's worth a shot! It's safer than being induced.
