i saw a mom say earlier that she can not have meat tomorrow...

why? is it a new diet trend where you dont eat meat on fridays?
can i post the mom name here so she will know I am talking to her?

  • It's Good Friday. It's a religious Holiday. During Lent(six weeks up until Easter) you don't eat meat on Ash Wednesday or Friday's during lent.

  • It's a religious thing. Catholics don't eat meat on Fridays durring lent. Lent ends with Easter I think. But they can still eat fish on Fridays. That's why you always see fish specials at fast food joints at this time of year
