Nipples cracking??

I'm past my due date and I noticed the tip of my nipples are starting to crack...eh is this normal?? There's no pain and no leaking as of yet.

  • I would start putting lotion on it, or lanoline. That will probably help. I always used keri lotion on my breasts.

  • get the cream you use when you are breastfeeding it helps to relieve that

  • I would use lanolin, once you baby is here and starts bfing it will HURT owie.. I remember blisters.eek.

  • Try the lanolin; also, if you can express a little colostrum, try rubbing that over your nipples before yu put on the lanolin. This will reduce the risk of infection. Do this once the baby comes, too!! Hang in there, hope labor comes soon. =)
