abortion question

i think that we obviously cant change the abortion rates right now. i feel that it is being used as a birth control. one of my friends has admited to having 2 abortions, though her ex bff says shes had more than 3.
so i am against it, on the fence on the rape abortions. but if we cant change it i think they should steralize women who have had more than 1. i think that if a woman isnt careful and doesnt want to have the responsibility of a child, then she shouldnt be able to reproduce. why kill a human baby in a belly when you can prevent an abortion all together? i know its a little off the wall, but theres birth controll...hello if you dont want a baby, get your butt on something to help prevent it, or have your reproductive system snitched so you cant murder an innocent baby again.

  • if we say ya sterlize someone who has had more than one abortion (i don't think its any of our business how many abortions someone has had either way, that is between them, the dad and their dr) but say ya we do that. where does it stop? and what about the men who are getting the women pregnant? do we sterlize them too? i mean sounds a bit hitlerish to me

  • i'm with you, they know what happens when they have unprotected sex. i'm not on the fence for rape victoms though, there's always adoption. i know one person that's had at least 5, if not more, all within only a couple of years. and to the pp, are you serious? in the end it's the woman's choice for the abortion, it's their body. as for sterilization, i don't think we should do that, but at least put a limit to it. like if they've had so many, they're not allowed to have anymore. as for medical reasons, i am still on the fence about that.

  • I feel they should be allowed so many abortions, otherwise do not get pregnant or if you do give the baby up or you will be fined or jailed for continuous reckless behavior.

Maybe women should be more responsible and not have sex with men they barely know. If a woman wants to kill the life inside her she is not mother material. Why not just get sterilized.

  • I don't believe in using abortion as a form of birth control- which a LOT of women do. I do believe a woman should have a choice IF medically needed.
Yes, the man is just as responsible BUT we women should take control and protect our bodies.
If we don't protect our own bodies, can we really expect the man to protect us? It amazes me when women bitch about the man not using birth control when they weren't using any either.

  • I think abortion is wrong. No matter if a woman was raped or not. It's not that baby's fault that happened to her. Put the bbay up for adoption, someone will love that baby.
