Breasts

I put this question here because this section gets more action. Has anyone ever had to have a cyst surgically removed from their breast? How was the procedure. I have to have it done. Just wondering.

  • My mom and my best friend had to have that done and they said it was painful afterward but it heals rather quickly. just be sure to keep it clean and the dr usually gives you something for the pain while you are healing. they just had it done last month. Good luck!

  • I haven't, but my mom had one removed from her underarm. It was pretty painful and she was on pain meds for a while. This was 15 years ago though. I'm sure they have much better, less invasive ways of doing this now. Good luck, and try not to worry. The Dr's know what they are doing.
