How to produce again

I stopped breastfeeding my daughter a month ago (she was 2 1/2 months old) and now at 3 1/2 months old she wants to breast feed again. I have a very low supply but i am trying to build up again. any tips???

  • yes, you can go to your dr. they have vitamins you can take to help you produce again.

  • Or you can simply just start BF=ing again that builds up the supply of breast milk.

  • ok, ill do that. I know getting a perscription for a type of pill that will help you produce more but I have no insurance. I hear fenugreek and MOTHERS MILK tea helps.
    How long does it usually take to restablish an adiquite milk supply?

  • I would definitely let her spend as much time at the breast as possible to get your supply back up...the more you demand your body to make, the more it will. Best of luck mama!!!
