can you use buttermilk in a peach cobbler recipe instead of whole milk?

  • You sure can!! I admit I had to look this one up. I went to Allrecipes.com and searched under ingredients peaches & buttermilk. There are more than a couple of peach cobbler recipes with buttermilk. Buttermilk makes everything taste better!!!!

  • thank you. I'm no Betty Crocker so I asked my sister who bakes a lot. I only have buttermilk and fat free milk and she said neither would work! LOL, I love it when she's wrong.
