What is a traditional Easter dinner? or What are you cooking?

  • ok here it goes...we just got back from shopping and we are having....baked turkey, velveeta shells n cheese, corn, rolls, rice & turkey gravy(homemade), apple cobbler w/ vanilla ice cream....there ya have it....its going to be our first Easter dinner at home so its exciting!!!!! thanks for all your great ideas and sharing your family traditions!!! HAVE A HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!

  • we always had a ham for easter dinner and this is the first year i am cooking easter dinner i am making ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, dinner rolls, corn, and green beans.

  • I'm from the south so we're having:
    Chicken- BBQ and baked
    Crawfish- Boiled
    Rice dressing
    Green beans
    BBQ Ribs
    Potato Salad
    Cakes & Pies (Caramel, Turtle, Sweet potato, Sock-It-to-me, lemon)
    Smothered sweet potatos ( What others would call very sweet candied yams)
    of course candy (for the kids)
