"Bump"?

I'm still trying to learn all the lingo in here, but what the hell does bump mean when you post it to someone else's post? I don't get it!! Can someone please explain it to me?!!

  • Hi bornwhitehot,

When you view a group's forum, posts are listed in the order of when the last reply was added.

When someone posts "bump" in a reply to a post, they are bringing the whole thread to the top of the group so more people will see it.

  • you say bump when you don't have an answer for someone, it helps move their post back to the top of the forum so more people will see it and hopefully someone who has an answer
