bumps on his head

My 5 month old has tiny pimple looking bumps that form a circle on the side of his head. His doctor told me it's just inflamed cradle cap, to rub baby shampoo on it at every bath. I have been doing this but it hasn't helped. The bumps haven't gotten bigger either. I really don't think it's cradle cap, but what else could it be?

  • My son had the SAME thing when he was 5 months old. It is a bacterial infection. The doctors will give you ointment for it and it will go away in like 2 days. Its not ringworm but is looks like it and his similar besides the fact that it is bacterial and not a fungus.
