What would be a good state

What would be a good state to move to?

with this economy....is there really a good state to move to with work?
my dh works in concrete...

but besides that i want to get out of Kansas/......What is a good state (
I like Houston tx...but he dont want to go back there (all his family is there)

  • My daughter designs for the military in VA and she says her company is hiring like crazy. My friend is an admin for Wells Fargo and she says they're hiring like crazy. She's in MD, but they have locations all over the country. I heard Arizona or Tennessee are good places to live....cheap and nice....not sure what the jobs are there.

  • Forget Houston..come to San Antonio. It's beautiful, jobs are still available. Even though it is down like everyone else iIt is still one of the strongest housing markets in the country. I'm a little biased can ya tell?

  • Wisconsin is a great place to live and raise kids,especially SE Wisconsin where I live but there are NO jobs to be found. I live about 1 hour between Chicago and Milwaukee.
