did your LO eat chocolate today?

or even before today? question aimed for babies under 12 months. I refused chocolate offered to my almost-1 year old son today, because he hasnt tried it yet, and I didnt know if it was ok. there might be chocolate in his bday cake, but thought i'd ask now!

  • the first time mine had chocolate was her 2nd easter she was 15 months. so you aren't the only one

  • No, dd is only 9 months and so, of course, I don't want her having chocolate. I think I will wait as long as possible before introducing her to stuff like that. When she is that little (under 4) she won't associate Easter with chocolate, if I don't teach her that. I don't want her to have stuff like that until other children tell on me!

  • My DD's 2nd Easter she was just over a year (Jan birthday) and she didn't get chocolate. She got dried fruit and granola in her eggs.

  • i think my daughter had chocolate when she it was at my friends daughter birthday party one week before she turn one.

    after that we didn't give her chocolate until we made black forest cake..
