  • well ds wore a button up shirt with a vest over it and khaki pants, dd wore a white dress with purple flowers on it, and a purple bow in her hair. after church, i changed my ds into jeans and t-shirt, since he'd be more active in the easter egg hunt we were going to do at a friends house. there were alot of kids there and needless to say it was a good thing i changed him :) dd is only 8 months so i left her in her outfit all day.

  • Anon 10:59, you can contact your local nursing homes or childrens hospital and see if they need volunteers. Nursing homes usually love to have to have someone visit with the patients, there are a lot of elderly patients that do not have any family that visits them. This is why we visit the nursing homes, it is sad that many people go there and the family don't make time to visit them :(

  • I work in a nursing home, and we took our kids there Thursday for their egg hunt. The residents love seeing kids, and it does make me sad that many of them either have no family left or are alone on holidays :(
