  • For most young women, the biggest weight gainer is either from preg. and/or fast food and junk foods like chips, sodas, high cal coffees, and basically sugar. Eliminate these first and stick with just good quality protein with each meal, fresh fruits and fresh veg. Leave off breads, sugar and sweet drinks, including juices and you'll likely find a good loss in a matter of weeks and months. :)

Of course, beefing up your calorie burn will make this happen faster. Ride your bike, take brisk 30 - 45 min. walks, mow the yard, or do a fun and enjoyable training video and you'll feel great, get back down to the weight that is perfect for you. :)

  • It does seem like a bit much for the 6th month BUT every pregnancy is different and this may be what your baby needs. If you are worried try to cut back on the sweets and junky stuff and fill up on whole grains fruits, veggies and lean protein. You should NEVER EVER try to lose weight while pregnant, but you can control it and slow it down to a healthier amount.
Make sure you are drinking enough water and try to get some low impact exersise in such as walking or swimming 3-4 times a week.
Don't stress though because stress is more harmful to your baby the a couple extra pounds.

  • I have a meal replacement shake that will curb your desires and really set your body up for success during your pregnancy. Let me know if you would like to hear about that.
