diaper rash

my 8 month old daughter has had a diaper rash for almost 2 and half weeks it doesnt seem to get better and today when i was changing her it started to bleed i have used everything that walmart and kmart offers for it should i take her to the doc or does anyone else have any sugg help plz

  • Try using brown flour or put malox in her rash cream. You can also try vagasil as well, it works wonders. Let her keep her diaper off as much as possible and sit her in vinegar water as well when you give her a bath. You only use a tiny bit of of it take away the sting from the rash. The brown flour and malox with rash cream cleared my daughters up in 2 days from her teething. GL

  • She could also have a yeast infection. You can call the pedi and they may have you bring her in to be checked out. If she does they may give you a script for it and if they do ask for a sample because it's expensive.

  • We have always used A+D Oinment. Change the baby often and put fresh oinment on everytime and you should notice the diffrence with every diaper change. Avoid juices, and foods that loosen babies stool too much too. If it doesn't clear up or get noticeably better, call the dr.
