How many naps does your baby take outside of the home?

Lately, my daughter (9 months old) has been taking at least one nap per day, 1-2 days per week, when we are out doing errands. Usually she takes her naps at home in her crib. I don't want to create a bad habit (sleeping on the go).

How many naps does your older infant take outside the home?

  • Our daughter sleeps in the car if we are out for long periods of time. Maybe 1 to 2 days a week. We try and plan it around her morning and afternoon nap so we can have her home instead of in the car. You child will sleep if they are tired so its not really a bad habit unless you drive your child around for all the naps and to get them to sleep. Our daughter is 7 months and we are lucky if she sleep 45 minutes in the car maybe an hour at a time.
