My 6 year old is getting a back tooth. Is this an adult molar?

  • His 6 year molars. Or I guess her 6 year molars. They are permanent. My son just got his about 6 months ago. I didn't even notice they were cutting through until he showed me one of his other teeth was loose.

  • Kids get their molars at around age 6 and then again around age 11-12-13, depending on how fast or slow they grow.

  • 6 yr molars...then 12 yr molars, then wisdom teeth.
