Has anyone had any experience with the Evenflo DLX Triumph car seat?

I live in Israel and have been told that it is a good car seat to buy but can't find any reviews on it on the net. Has anyone used it or can anyone recommend a site that reviews car seats. I am mostly worried that it does not have a good side protection facility.

That should help get you started. The Evenflo Triumph Deluxe is the same seat, just different sites use diffent names. Hope that helps.

  • If you are looking for a site that gives crash test ratings, I've never been able to find a good site for that. But I know all seats conform to basic safety standards for the US. Not sure about other countries.

  • We have the Evenflo seat in both our cars. We've been very happy with it. The only thing I'd note is that the seat seems rather wide so in a smaller car, you can't sit an adult comfortably next to it (assuming the seat is in the middle) for any length of time.

  • Thank you for all the answers. I am a bit worried about reading reviews on the net because from what I understand...companies employ people to write good reviews for them and bad reviews for thier competition? I thought this forum would be a good way to get recommendations from real moms with real experiences. I really just want to buy a very safe seat for my daughter. I am less interested in all other pros and cons although they are always good to know. They do not sell the Britax here and so far the Evenflo DLX seems the best bet. Any other ecommendations will be great.
