  • canker sores r in ur mouth and r lik infected abrasions. cold sores r a type of virus which is related to herpes

  • I've found that Blue Star Ointment helps with the cold sores. My kids had them ALL OVER their lips, and my father was always telling me how great that stuff was for athlete's foot. I gave it a shot, and I was amazed how fast it worked! A doc here confirmed that it has actual medicine unlike things like Carmex, which is good for chapped lips.

  • Cold sores are Herpes of the mouth, usually on the outside of the mouth. Canker sores are not herpes, and are usually on the inside of the mouth.
