If Achmadinajad of Iran wants Nukes to destroy Israel, why is Biden asking for Israel to take time before defending itself?

Iran could possibly kill 6 million jews in Israel if allowed more time to build up nuclear weapons, why would Biden ask Israel to take more time before defending itself?
How much time does Obama and Biden plan on wasting before history repeats itself?

  • It is very true that the first option should always be peaceful negotiation.

Unfortunately, repeated peaceful negotiations, for decades = Ahmadinajad still makes destroying Israel a talking point in his speeches, and Gaza continued to lob explosions into Israeli neighborhoods (supplied by Iranian missiles) as far into the country as the rockets can reach. I wonder how many decades American citizens would accept rockets from Canada or Mexico landing in their houses and streets?

I get impatient with politicians and media soberly mouthing these phrases as if they are real. They imply that peaceful negotiation is some new tactic which has NOT been tried repeatedly, and they make the public forget that there is not a ROUTINE pattern of peace agreements getting broken soon after they are negotiated.

Israel has no option - it is so small that a nuclear strike would make all its territory uninhabitable. ONE missile.

  • Reporting from Washington -- Vice President Joe Biden issued a high-level admonishment to Israel's new government Tuesday that it would be "ill advised" to launch a military strike against Iran.

Biden said in a CNN interview that he does not believe newly installed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would take such a step. Even so, his comment underscored a gap between the conservative new Israeli government and the Obama White House on a series of questions, including the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and Iran.

  • It goes deeper than that. There are many things to consider..
    1) If they both start threatening nukes, then that raises the possiblity for the war to increase to each countries allies and therefore drag everyone into a larger conflict.
    2) Irseal is an ally to the US, but we are tentativly on talking basis with Iran. It would be a hard thing for the US to have to choose what direction to go regarding this matter. Iran is currently allied with many other countries that we are also on shakey ground with and this could further anti-American sentiment in those countries.
    3) The first option should always be peaceful negotiation. This is what we should strive for first. An act of retaliation (arming of nukes or mass armerment of troops by Isreal) could further provoke an already tense situation that may be able to be withdrawn with peace talks.
    4) Isreal is severly lacking in suficent military capability to fight Iran.

  • In the end, GOD will save Israel.

It is very odd, and  interesting and important,  that Israel has been "picked on"  for at least 2-3 millenia, like the Bible described(s),  and people, of other faiths who don't bother with learning about the Bible, just keep picking. If they knew where they are in God's plan,  they would stop on a dime.

But they won't stop . They're  chasing their tails.

  • Israel will not be destroyed at this point. There are many things that must happen before it goes this far. Yes God will intervene and save Israel. God could be using Biden as a voice to speak to Prime Minister of Israel not to do a thing. Its not time yet anyway! It really isnt about Israel and their land anyway. It goes much deeper than that.

  • Because secretly we are in bed with Iran. WHy do you think we haven't done anything by now. The only other excuse is that they could anniliate us and we have no troops to stop them. But I think not. It saysy in the Bible hte country that turns its back on Isreal wil be cursed. We love you Isreal. Please protect yourself.
