do you find anything wrong with breastfeeding in church, even with a drape covering?

  • God designed us to feed our children with our breasts. If a worship center has a problem with me using my body as God intended, then they're hypocrites.

  • Babies have to eat, whether they are in church or not.

  • Ummm Jesus was breastfeed, so no. But I don't see any problem BF anywhere draped or not. Most religions embrace BF and some even mandate it.

  • No, using a drape is respectful of others. Now if you were letting them hang out, that would not be appropiate, especially if there are children around.

  • Well, I wish somebody would have ever told me that it was inappropriate to BF my child when he was hungry. I don't care where I am if my baby is hungry he will eat. If somebody gets offended they better not dare to tell me about it because they won't like my answer. My child's needs come first then anybody's opinions or likes and dislikes, so mama, feed your baby I am sure God wouldn't mind. LOL

  • You are ok to breastfeed your baby there, most people understand. But I agree, I would not want my child to see exposed breasts from another woman nearby. Its just a little more appropriate and respectful of others to drape something over. Really, you pack a diaper bag with you, how much harder to pack a drape?

  • God gave us boobs for a reason, and it wasn't a sexual reason.

  • So, it's ok if kids see a little cleavage over the top of a shirt but not a child being nourished in a nonsexual way? I would far rather my son see boobs feeding a child than some women with a low cut shirt.
